Your CEFR level & skill tests
How Dardsh places your level (A1–C2) and the per-skill tests for speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
Dardsh tracks your proficiency on the CEFR scale, A1 to C2. A short adaptive placement test sets your overall level — take it from the Assessment area.
You can take that placement test before you even have an account — it's linked from the home page and takes about five minutes. Give an email so we can send you the result, answer the questions, and you'll get an estimated level straight away. When you sign up with the same address later, the result is applied to your profile automatically, so you don't sit the test twice.
The no-account version is multiple choice. Speaking, pronunciation, fluency and listening need an account, because they record and score your voice.
You can also test each skill separately — speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Reading and listening use quick multiple-choice ladders; speaking records a spoken answer and writing takes a typed one, both graded against the CEFR rubric. Results roll up into a single mastery level that gates level-ups.
A placement or re-test can confirm your level up to B2. C1 and C2 are earned: your practice XP has to reach the next band's floor first, then you pass the level-up test. So a test that says C1 or C2 shows what you scored — your badge and level move through that ladder, and the result screen tells you exactly how far you are.
