Coach Terms

These Coach Terms govern your participation as an independent coach on Dardsh. They sit alongside the main Terms of Service — both apply to you. By submitting a coach application or accepting a booking you accept these terms.
You are an independent contractor
Coaches on Dardsh are independent professionals, not employees. You are responsible for your own taxes, business registration if applicable, and any local regulatory requirements for teaching online. Dardsh provides the marketplace; the coaching relationship is between you and the learner.
Identity verification (KYC)
Before you can receive payouts you must complete identity verification through our KYC partner. Documents you submit are processed by the partner, not retained by Dardsh in clear text, and used solely to confirm identity per anti-fraud and tax-compliance requirements.
Rates and tiers
You set your hourly rate within the band Dardsh publishes for your CEFR-assessed tier in each language you teach (see /coach/languages). Tiers are capped by your assessment result + completed-session count and re-assessable. Rate changes apply to future bookings only — already-confirmed sessions keep the rate at booking time.
Platform commission
Dardsh charges a flat 15% platform fee on completed sessions. You keep 85% of the session price, paid out via your wallet. The commission covers hosting, payment processing, trust & safety, scheduling, recordings, and marketing the marketplace.
Availability and attendance
Your published availability is a commitment — learners book against it expecting you'll be there. You can edit availability at any time, but already-confirmed bookings must be honored unless you cancel through the cancellation flow (which triggers refunds and may impact your standing). Repeated no-shows lead to suspension.
Earnings, hold window, and withdrawals
Earnings post to your wallet on session completion and clear a 72-hour hold (configurable for trust & safety) before becoming withdrawable. Withdrawals are subject to a minimum balance and a minimum completed-session count. We support bank transfers, Stripe Connect, Fawaterak payouts, and Wise — pick whatever works in your region.
Code of conduct
Treat every learner with respect. No harassment, discrimination, or sexually explicit content. Don't share illegal or hateful material. Don't take sessions off-platform after meeting a learner on Dardsh — circumventing payments is grounds for permanent removal. Cooperate with trust & safety investigations.
Your content
You retain ownership of materials you create. You grant Dardsh a non-exclusive license to display your profile, bio, intro video, and session-related content for the purpose of operating the marketplace. We may use de-identified, aggregated data about coaching activity to improve the product.
Taxes
You are responsible for declaring and paying your own taxes on Dardsh earnings under the laws of your jurisdiction. Dardsh does not withhold income tax. We may be required to report aggregate earnings to tax authorities depending on your country of residence and total earnings.
Termination
You can deactivate your coach profile at any time from /coach. Dardsh may suspend or remove coaches for violations of these Terms, the main Terms of Service, applicable law, or for repeated quality/safety incidents. Earnings already due remain payable after termination, subject to the same withdrawal gates.
Changes to these terms
We will post updates here and notify active coaches by email for material changes. Continued listing or accepting new bookings after the change means you accept the updated Coach Terms.
