Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Dardsh at dardsh.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Dardsh.
What Dardsh is
Dardsh is a marketplace that connects language learners with independent language coaches for live online sessions, with supporting tools (booking, AI feedback, vocabulary, reviews). Coaches are independent professionals, not employees of Dardsh.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 to use Dardsh as a learner (or 16 in jurisdictions that require it), and at least 18 to apply as a coach. Coaches must complete identity verification (KYC) before earning.
Your account
Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us immediately at security@dardsh.app if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
Don't harass, threaten, or discriminate against others. Don't share illegal, hateful, or sexually explicit content. Don't impersonate another person. Don't use Dardsh to circumvent our payments — for example, taking sessions off-platform after meeting on Dardsh. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Coach obligations
Coaches set their own rates and availability. Dardsh charges a 15% platform fee on completed sessions; coaches keep 85%. Coaches must show up to scheduled sessions, deliver the language practice they advertise, and follow trust & safety standards including KYC and reporting cooperation.
Payments and refunds
Pricing is shown at booking. We support subscriptions, session packs, and pay-as-you-go. Refunds: full refund if a coach no-shows or a technical issue prevents the session, partial refund for legitimate quality concerns reviewed via in-session reporting, and no refund for completed sessions absent a documented issue.
Recording consent
Sessions may be recorded only with consent from all participants, captured at the start of the session. A visible indicator shows recording is active. You can decline; declining does not affect your ability to take the session. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
Intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you upload (your profile, vocabulary lists, messages). You grant Dardsh a license to host and display that content as needed to operate the service. The Dardsh name, logo, and software are owned by OTO Group L.L.C. and are not licensed to you beyond using the service.
Termination
You can close your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable law. Provisions intended to survive termination (payment, IP, disputes) survive.
Disclaimers
Dardsh is provided as-is. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. Coaches are independent and Dardsh does not endorse any individual coach's teaching style, materials, or qualifications beyond verifying identity (KYC).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dardsh's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid Dardsh in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you in-app or by email. Continued use after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
