Onboarding: setting your language & goal
What the first-run setup asks, and how Dardsh unlocks features across your first week.
When you first sign in, a short setup tunes Dardsh to you. It asks four things:
- The language you want to practise — Arabic, English, or French.
- Your rough level, from beginner to advanced (you can confirm it later with a placement test).
- Why you're learning — travel, work, exams, family, and so on.
- Your pace — how much time you want to put in each week.
Your answers shape what you see: recommended coaches, practice content at the right level, and realistic weekly targets. You can change any of it later from your profile.
Your first week
Dardsh eases you in rather than dropping everything on you at once. A Your first week card on your dashboard reveals one themed step a day — finish your profile, take a placement test, read and save vocab, play a game, meet a coach — and each step ticks off automatically as you do it. The card tucks itself away once you're up and running.
