How your rank is calculated and why it matters.
Your rank reflects your demonstrated level and track record. It's computed from your confirmed CEFR level, sessions taught in a language, and 90-day quality gates — rating, attendance, cancellation, and lateness.
Rank matters because it feeds your price and your discovery visibility. Keep quality high and your sessions consistent to move up; falling below the quality gates can cap your tier.
Separately, the badge on your card — Verified, Pro or Elite — is earned from your lifetime completed sessions and your rating, on the same thresholds as your commission band. Pro is 50+ sessions with a rating of 4.50 or better; Elite is 250+ sessions at 4.80 or better. Both need at least 5 ratings behind them, so a single review can't move you either way — and sessions alone are never enough, because the badge is a quality signal to learners.
