Teach Russian on Dardsh

Make Russian approachable from the very first lesson.

Cases and verb aspect scare beginners off. A patient coach who teaches through conversation keeps them going.

Based in Egypt? We’re hiring you first.

Every session is online, so you can teach from Cairo, Alexandria or anywhere with a steady connection. Right now we’re prioritising native and near-native speakers who live in Egypt, and applications from everywhere else are welcome too.

Who you’ll teach

Students heading to Russian universities, professionals in trade and engineering, and learners with family ties to Russian-speaking countries. Some are preparing for the TORFL (ТРКИ) exams.

Russian isn’t bookable on Dardsh yet: a language opens to learners once two coaches have open slots. Your application helps open it.

Useful, not required. Solid experience teaching adults counts too.

How pay works

You don’t set a rate. Dardsh prices every session with one formula: your rank (your certified level, the sessions you’ve taught and how learners rate you), whether you’re a native speaker, and demand for the language. As your rank rises, so does your price.

Russian sessions currently run from 200 DC ≈ $2 to 1,250 DC ≈ $12.5 per 30 minutes.

A native speaker certified at C2 starts at 875 DC ≈ $8.75 per session and keeps 656 DC ≈ $6.56.

Your share of every session

  • From your first session75%
  • From 50 completed sessions80%
  • From 250 completed sessions85%
  • The share in force when a session is booked is the one you’re paid, even if you move up later.
  • A learner’s free first lesson is paid too: half your normal earning once it’s completed.
  • Earnings go to your Dardsh wallet. Verify your identity once, then withdraw from 5,000 DC ≈ $50.

Figures come from today’s formula and change with your rank and the language’s quarterly demand coefficient. Local-currency amounts are approximate.

Why coach on Dardsh

  • Your hours

Set your weekly availability and change it whenever you need to. Evenings and weekends across the region are the busiest times.

  • Everything in the browser

Video, notes, a whiteboard and file sharing are built into the session room. Nothing to install.

  • No chasing payments

Learners pay through Dardsh before the session. Your earning lands in your wallet when the session is completed.

  • A team behind you

Every coach is in-house: our team sets up your profile and terms with you, and support is there when something goes wrong.

What we look for

  • A native speaker, or a C1–C2 level you can show
  • At least a year, or 200+ hours, teaching adults online
  • Conversational English or Arabic, so you can explain things to beginners
  • A reliable connection, a webcam, a headset and a quiet room

Questions from coaches

Do I have to live in Egypt?

No. Sessions are online and applications are open wherever you live. We’re simply prioritising speakers based in Egypt right now.

Do I need a teaching certificate?

It helps, but it isn’t required. Solid experience teaching adults online counts, and every coach passes the Dardsh certification for each language they teach.

How much will I earn?

It depends on your rank, whether you’re a native speaker and the language. You keep 75% of each session at first, rising to 85% as you complete more sessions. The pay section on this page shows today’s figures.

Can I teach more than one language?

Yes. Add each language to your application. Each one needs its own certification before learners can book it.

How many hours do I have to teach?

You choose your weekly availability. Our team may agree a weekly session target with you, but it never blocks bookings.
