A New Baby at Home
Last year, my sister had her first baby. Everything at home changed very quickly. The house became noisier and busier. There were bottles, blankets, and tiny clothes everywhere. My sister and her husband did not sleep much in the first weeks. They were very tired, but they were also very happy. The whole family came to visit and helped with cooking and cleaning. I loved holding the baby and singing to her.
Now the baby is six months old. She can smile and recognise our faces. She loves to look at bright colours and listen to music. My sister says life is harder now, but also much better. Next year, the baby will start to walk and talk. We are all very excited to watch her grow up. Having a new baby in the family is a big change, but it brings a lot of joy.
