A Weekend in a Mountain Village
Last summer, I visited a small mountain village for the first time. The village was very old, with narrow stone streets and colourful houses. There were no big shops or busy traffic — just quiet paths, friendly people, and fresh mountain air. I stayed in a small guesthouse near the centre. Every morning, I ate breakfast on a little balcony and looked at the green hills around me. The view was beautiful.
On my second day, I walked to a waterfall about two kilometres from the village. The path was easy but the scenery was amazing. I met some local people along the way, and they told me a little about the history of the area. I took many photos and felt very relaxed. I want to go back next year and stay for a longer time. If you like peace and nature, a mountain village is a perfect place to visit.
