A Good Night's Sleep Can Change Everything
Most people know that sleep is important, but many of us do not get enough of it. Adults usually need between seven and nine hours of sleep every night. When we sleep, our bodies repair themselves and our brains organise the things we learned during the day. Without enough sleep, it is hard to concentrate, and we often feel tired, sad, or angry. Many people find it difficult to sleep well because they use their phones or watch TV right before bed. The light from screens can trick the brain into thinking it is still daytime.
The good news is that small changes can make a big difference. Try to go to bed at the same time every night. Keep your bedroom cool and dark. Avoid coffee or tea in the evening. If you do these things for a few weeks, you will probably notice that you feel better, think more clearly, and have more energy during the day.
